Roger Waters, born in England on 6 September 1943, is a leading figure in progressive rock. Co-founder of the legendary band Pink Floyd in 1965, Waters is its principal lyricist, contributing to iconic albums such as “The Dark Side of the Moon” and “The Wall”.
